First Snow!

Well, there had already been snow on the mountain peaks, but today was the first snow of the season here in my yard! Hmmm, where did I put my snow shovel? Brrrrrrrrr...

Oh Jaya please don't send it my way, lol. We are very fortunate to enjoy unusual warm weather, according to records we should have 12 C and we are over 20 C, rainy or sunny. Lot of gardeners still have lot of vegetables sitting in the garden, it would be a disaster. Thanks for sharing. Anna :)

OK, Anna, I won't send it your way... Hmmm... Maybe Daisy and the lizards down in Florida would like to get sent some snow, just for a change?

My cats have certainly decided it's winter again... there were two of them, Gamma and Boo, curled up together in the basket in front of the kitchen heater tonight!

It DOES seem early to me, Lady B, but maybe it's not... I'm pretty bad about keeping track of time...

For instance, most of Sunday evening I was thinking: "Wow, snow in September! That seems early." And it wasn't until the middle of the night that I remembered we are now in October, not September. So, you see, I'm not kidding when I say I'm not good at keeping track of time!

I am very amazed to see that it is snowing in places. We are still having warm humid weather in the mid 80's! I think I would like to play in snow.

I am also in northern New Mexico and we had snow here, too. The snow in the sunshine has melted, but the snow in the shade is staying.

Thank you for visiting my blog.
