Icicle Images


Here in northern New Mexico, we've just gotten socked with a big snow storm. I was outside looking at the ice sickles that had formed above the front porch. (OK, yes, I really was just putting off shoveling out the driveway.) I took a few photos. In the one below I saw a couple of interesting shapes. Do you see any?

Hmmm...saw that first one and it looks a little Halloweeny. Second one I missed til you pointed it out and I love that!

Thanks for the pix...I very much miss seeing branches coated with ice. One of my favorite childhood memories.

You have a good eye! But then you're an artist and artist see the owrld from a different perspective. I had no idea you all got that kind of weather there...yikes!

Those are incredible photos! I would never have seen them! That tree is especially beautiful! You are so blessed to have such a backyard! But I don't know if I could cope with the cold! I'm in a T-shirt today and couldn't imagine snow!
