Happy Birthday To Me

Another year, another July 1st, another birthday for me. Below is a photo from my baby book, showing me at my fifth birthday party. I'm the one in the high chair, facing the camera and blowing a party favor.

Precursor to your adult behavior! I like the sanguine look of the gal in the hat..."fiddle dee dee, another birthday party."

I notice your folks have the booze on the highest shelf.

And say, what's going on on the tablecloth??

Oh, now I see the tablecloth says "Happy Birthday". Store-bought and everything.

By the way, the girl in the cowboy hat looks sort of like my sister.

Isn't that bizarre?

Anyway, Happy Birthday again~

Thanks everyone! Your good wishes are appreciated.

MaLu, I don't think that is liquor on the high shelf... I'm guessing maybe it's something like olive oil. They kept liquor elsewhere in the house.

Ann, if memory serves, the girl in the hat (a pirate hat, I think) was named Nancy. She was a friend of my sister Wylie, who is sitting next to her in the photo.

Happy birthday dear Jaya, how come you are not wearing the cowboy hat? Or are you wearing one today instead. I declare it Jaya's birthday month.
