Me At Ages 16 & 18

Included in the packet my sister-in-law Lilia recently sent, were these two old photos of me. It made me smile to see them after over three decades!

In the first, I'm guessing I'm 16 years old, and lying on the grass looking happy. In the second, I'm visiting Lilia and my brother Richard in Switzerland where they were living. I'm 18 years old in that one, and that's one of very rare photos of me wearing a dress!

Doped-Up Addicts

Here is another old drawing of mine, from 1981. I have no idea what I had in mind when I made it back then, but when I look at it now it has clear meaning, speaking about about the cycle of human reincarnation, and how souls can become addicted to the experience, rushing in without adequate preperation, and then having doubts at the last minute, when it's too late to stop the entrance into the flesh.

If you can't read the small text at the bottom, it says: 'Have someone or something nearby when you first stand or walk in case of dizziness. Rest at least 12 hours.'

Ronnie Goes For A Stroll

Today I went to the Post Office, and found a packet from my sister-in-law, Lilia. She sent me a pile of old photos of myself and other family members, along with a few pieces of my old artwork. This is mostly stuff I mailed to her over the years, much of it from more than 20 years ago. I had a great time looking at all these old images, many of which I had no memory of. Thanks, Lilia!

There are a number of things I want to put up here on my blog. I decided to start with this watercolor collage I made back in 1982, showing President Reagan out for a stroll when a mishap befalls him. If you click on the image to enlarge it, you should be able to read it. But I've also written what it says below the image, in case you can't read it.

Ronnie is saying: "Damn... Something's going wrong here. Get rid of the press." And the caption says: Ronnie goes out for a peaceful stroll and his foot falls off.

A Very Tolerant Cat

I came across these YouTube videos, and they made me laugh. This cat, Walter (playing Hugo in the video), is one very tolerant guy, although he does look a bit exasperated at times. Who can blame him? He also looks a lot like my Rexie, which of course I like. I hope you'll enjoy this silliness too!

The Road To Longevity

I've written a couple of posts about the anti-aging product I began taking about a month ago, SomaLife's gHP Youth Formula. I've also been reading a very informative book, written by the two doctors who developed this formula, titled: Doctors' Secrets, The Road To Longevity. Tonight I just discovered that this whole book is available online! So I wanted to pass that info on to you. If you'd like to check out some of this info, CLICK HERE.

And if, after educating yourself about the truly wonderful effects of increased levels of HGH in the body, and would like to safely and effectively experience that, as I am now doing, CLICK HERE to get gHP Youth Formula for yourself!

Rexie On High

Rexie, like most cats, enjoys getting up onto high spots, and being above it all. He likes the view from on top of the refrigerator, and also enjoys going into the little cabinet above the fridge for nice private naps.

Oh, and Rexie, even though he swore off politics last week, got put into the 'Cat Idol' competition. Right now, if he doesn't get votes ASAP, he will be OUT of the competion. YOU can stop this from happening. Take a moment and vote for Rexie, by clicking on the link above now. Thanks for helping a kitty out!!

UPDATE: this cat contest is now over - Phew!!

Abraham, Coming Forth, For Us

I've recently been watching the Abraham DVD titled 'The Law of Attraction in Action, Episode II'. I've been enjoying it immensely, so I thought I'd share a little of Abraham with you as well.

Esther & Jerry Hicks

If you are not familiar yet with Abraham, they are the non-physical collective that is channeled through Esther Hicks. There is a beautiful body of work that has come forth over the years, and you can find much more information over at www.abraham-hicks.com . Here are is a five part video presentation of Abraham explaining 'The Law of Attraction'. The last clip features Abraham explaining where they come from.

Enjoy!

Those Goofy Missouri Taxpayers!

I have the sad honor of having a phone number that is only one digit off from the number given out to tax deadbeats in the state of Missouri. From what I can tell, if you don't pay your taxes in Missouri, or even if you do, but they think you don't, the Missouri Department of Revenue will send out a letter with a phone number for you to contact them. And that's just fine with me... after all, it's none of my business. Heck, I don't live in Missouri, not even anywhere close.

But then, when you take into account the folks who DO live in Missouri, well, that's where it starts to become a problem for me. Because the good citizens of Missouri, while I'm sure they have many other fine and endearing qualities, are NOT great at dialing phone numbers correctly. I know this is true, because almost every day I get one or more of them phoning ME to discuss their tax situations.

Sometimes they swear that they really did already pay their taxes, back in January, or last July. They'll tell me the amount they paid, and sometimes even give me their social security numbers! They wonder if they should fax me a copy of their canceled check. Some of them are angry at me, because the message on my personal answering machine does not instruct them how to resolve their tax situation. They want me to call them back so that we can talk it all over, and work something out. But I'm not interested. I just wish they would all shut up about their taxes and leave me alone.
