Tuesday Night Moonrise
As I drove home Tuesday night, coming north from Santa Fe, the moon began to rise above the hills. It was quite a beautiful sight, and I pulled over to snap a few photos.

Those were some great shots! I really wish I had a camera when I witnessed a moonrise in southern Arizona years ago that still makes me wonder. I was heading north out of Nogales with a load of produce at the time, and the moon looked like it was literally rising up out of Phoenix. For it almost completely covered the entire eastern sky until it got to be a certain height over the horizon, and then it became normal in size. I have been told that it was an atmospheric effect that is similar to a mirage, but I still wonder.
