Cooper

My friend MaLu lost her best pal a couple of days ago. He was her cat, Cooper, a handsome and steadfast warrior kitty who was 18 years old. Now he is waiting for her at the base of the stairs to the Rainbow Bridge, as seen below.

MaLu says this to us:

"Take a hit of Coopness anytime you feel really alone...
He brings unconditional protection, loyalty and strength.
If you really need it he'll put his forehead to yours
and just stay until you've had enough mind meld."

I like your blog so much! I love cats, and mine (Kiwi) passed by on April 10th 2007. I´m so sad since he´s gonne, but i know i will see Kiwi in a future. For your friend Malu: I´m sorry for your lost. Hugs...

Thanks, claudya and now that we've connected Kiwi and Cooper probably have also.

Jaya, loved your blogging before and more now that you honor Cooper so. I think I'll vote for you lots more than usual...

Cooper is in good hands with my babies that have crossed over the same rainbow bridge. Huxtable, Chistopher, Misty, Ripley, Baby Bennington, Sable, Ollie, Casey, Fiona, Woody and the angels are there too. May MaLu be comforted in knowing that Cooper loved their relationship. He is healthy and running free. Hug and Lots of Love, Bobby "Little Whannh"

Theresa...lovely, thank you. Jaya's picture from Cooper sure turned the tide of grief for me.

Cat names...so cool. Love your bunch. Cooper also joins Damian, Kelly, Lil' Whitey, Lindsay, Pogo, Skunk, Mouse, Tybalt the first and Kitten (well, the girls were little and they liked that name...the vets' would say "An appointment for which cat?" "Kitten". "Ok, but what name?" "Kitten" "Yeah, but.." and so it went...

And I'm still concerned for that vulnerable bird on the bottom step..

Claudya and Theresa, thanks for your comments. MaLu, I don't think you need to worry about that bird... since it is at the Rainbow Bridge, there's probably no harm that can come to it from Cooper... if any hunting goes on there, my guess is that they'll both be totally conscious that it's all a game they are playing. Maybe they'll take turns, and part of the time it will be the bird who chases Cooper. Or maybe the bird will take Cooper flying. All sorts of things are possible once freed from the limitations of physical form!
