Big Beautiful Moth
Tonight, when I got home from work, I found one of the giant moths we have around here sitting on my bathroom floor. I'm surprised he hadn't been eaten by one of the cats. I coaxed it onto my finger, where it sat for a photo shoot. Now you can see him (or her?) too:

Moths...tricky creatures. Wasn't sure if its eye was its eye or clever camouflage...guess it's an eye!
I think there's one that has an eye pattern on its back, and I know there's a skull one...
If they developed a pattern of the deworming pill cats get sometimes, they'd never get attacked!
It looks like he is smiling!
Being known to freak out when flying stuff become too close, I must admit that that moth looks very friendly.
The moth is beautiful! Although in my house, I'm afraid he'd be chased to his death by the resident eight-year-old Jedi knight.
